BV Software is currently hiring for a technical support engineer position.
This is an opportunity to join the BV Commerce team and grow with the company. We're seeking an energetic, self starter who can wear many hats.
Responsibilities include: Communicate with clients over the phone and email to diagnose and resolve technical support issues. Create unit tests to verify reported bugs and propose solutions to fix those bugs if necessary. Manage customer response times and followup with customers as needed to resolve issues in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate will have an excellent working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, ASP.NET, SQL Server, C# and VB.NET. Great written and verbal communication skills are a must along. The ability to analyze technical problems and devise solutions is a requirement. Candidates must be able to identify issues, replicate them and produce solutions to resolve the issues in a timely manner. The ability to learn and comprehend new technologies quickly is critical for this position.
Candidates must be US citizens residing in the United States. Candidates may telecommute and are not required to live in Richmond, VA.
Salary: Competitive rates based on experience.
