Hi, this may seem like a stupid question, but I didn't have this problem when I developed a site using SP1.
Anyways, I simply need to set up multiple emails to be sent out in the admin panel, for example:
Email Addresses Store Email Address: * * Inventory Low Email Report: * * Contact Page Email Recipient: * * Email New Orders To: * *
This is in the Options Tab -> Email Addresses section.
I checked under the user manual (and did the same in the past) and it says to use a comma to separate the email addresses, but some serious JavaScript validator is slapping me down.
Here is the error I get when trying to type a comma after the 1st email address: 1. I'll get a red astris next to the form box 2. If I hit 'Save Changes' , I get a nasty red text stating: Please enter a valid email address!!!!
Any help?? I am out of ideas and coffee..

(SP2) I just tried it with a semi-colon (;) - that's the way Outlook does it. No error message, but I haven't tested it for real. |

We recently upgrade our BVC5 SP2.5 store to SP3.1. In the SP2.5 store I had multiple e-mail addresses for notification in several of the e-mail templates. I needed to change one of the e-mail notifications and following occurred. a)I could change but not save multiple e-mail addresses. I tried both (,) and (;) as separators. A warning noting to use a correct e-mail address appeared. b)I could only save one e-mail address c)Any template that had multiple e-mails from the older version continued to work. It would send to multiple e-mails as long as I did not make any changes. |

Rudy,
Thanks for your input.
It looks like a bug in SP(3) cause I tried it using 3 different browsers as well (IE, Mozilla, Safari).
Anyways, I guess there is the old fashioned way of doing it by going into the database(s).
Any idea which db's to query to do an SQL UPDATE?
Regards,

We have this listed as a bug to address in the next service pack. Thanks for the input.

A temporary work around is to create a mailing list on your email server and use that single mailing list address as a recipient in BV Commerce.
