Are you sure that this is a stated bug? I thought that the BV menu did this for performance reasons. We have a custom developed menu that we will be releasing as a free add-on sometime in the near future. It does not have this limitations and adds a bunch of a other features. |

Hey Arron, I think your right. It looks like this is done for performance. When you have the new menu available I would be interested.
Thanks,

The BV Commerce 5 menu control has several choices on how to display the tree. In version 5.4 we added the option to display the entire tree without limits.
1) Go to Content->Columns in the admin 2) Click "Edit" next to "System Category Page" 3) Click "Edit" next to the category menu block 4) Choose "Show All Categories for current Parent" from the Display Mode 5) Click Save and view in the site
Repeat this process for "System Product Page" if you want the same display on product detail pages.

Marcus,
I am using the BV Commerce 5 SP3.2 and I have to display all the categories in the category menu at the level 4 i.e right now the parent category dis-appears when you are on level 4. Please tell me how do I achieve this or is there any patch for this?
Thank you, Vaibhav
