I am a new user of BV Commerce and have a question about the abandoned carts report. The report shows dozens of abandoned carts every day for $0.00. What does this indicate? If there is nothing in the cart then how is it abandoned?

It means someone showed up on your site and went to the cart page with nothing in it. A cart was started but nothing added |

Thank you, it seems strange that so many people would go to the cart page without adding products to their basket. We did not have visibility of this information in our previous shopping cart so I don't have anything to compare it to. Is this normal?

I see about 20 per day with $0 carts. Fairly normal. Sometimes visitors will add something to the cart just to check it out and then remove it, turning it into a $0 cart |

Also keep in mind that Bot activity (google, MS, yahoo, the security scanners etc.) is up about 250% this year. |

Search around in the forum. I recall a post that gave intructions on how to hide $0 carts from the report.
