How do I create a new tax and apply it to all products in my catalog?

Hi everyone!
I'm hoping this isn't a change that needs to be done item by item. Is there a tool built into BV somewhere?
I've been able to create the tax class and the tax itself but I don't see how I can apply it to all my products in the catalog. I've got about 3000.

There are two options that I can think of:
1) Product Batch Edit: Go to Catalog > Product Batch Edit. You'll then need to try and get all products to selected to be part of the edit, then select the tax class and apply.
2) Edit the database directly: I haven't looked into this to see how possible it is, but I'm assuming it can be done

Hey there
I'm actually on an older version: BV2004. Doesn't look like an option. Checked the same path you provided. I've update if it weren't for the fact that I'm working on my client's site.

Sounds like you'll need to resort to a SQL query to do a mass-update. |
