Hey everyone - I'm trying to set up an offer for buy 1 product, get 2 of the same product for free. I don't believe this is supported OOTB but was wondering if anyone has built something like this. Also, in doing some testing, it didn't seem like I could do buy 1, get 1 free of the same product.
Anyone with experience on this?

You may be able to get one free of the same product by using the offer Buy X, Get Y Free. This code will only work if the items are already in the cart. It adjusts afterwords. So, the customer would already have to have a quantity of two, then put the code in.
As for the buy x, get 2 or 3 free... That could be easily written by any of the coders on here. |

Hi Tim -
Thanks for the reply. I didn't try placing both items in the cart as it would be a better experience having the product auto-add, but I guess a bit of help text could get this working properly. I'll have our developer look at modifying the offer to create a buy 1 get 2 free.
