Is anyone out there having any performance issues with the QuickBooks Connector? One of our clients is reporting that it takes 90 seconds per order to export. We don't have any other clients using this tool, so I don't know if that's normal...

This is abnormally slow. We dont use the QB connector but our software also uses the Intuit SDK which lets us read via XML. It is inherently slow and a memmory hog say compared with an ODBC driver. That said, we can read ALL the journal entries and the sales transactions from the QB sample file "Larrys Landscaping" and build SSAS cubes in SQL server in around 6 mins, so I'd suspect something else is creating a bottleneck. Not much help but some kind of benchmark for you.

Each order should only take a few seconds. Is this an Enterprise version running remotely that might need to synch data or something?

Yes, this is the Enterprise version. A desktop computer, on the same LAN as the QB Enterprise server, is running the QB connector.

If possible, as a test, can you run everything on the one machine and eliminate the network?

Also, is QB closed or are people actively using it at the same time?
