[3]BACKGROUND[/3]
[3]I am working on our new BV5 based BernardiParts.com site. We will use a proprietary single-page user interface to let the user:[/3]
[3]·[/3] [3]Describe their vehicle and the sub-assembly of parts of interest by selecting values from dropdowns (year, model, trim, transmission, etc). [/3]
[3]·[/3] [3]View a list of parts and an assembly illustration for the selected assembly of parts[/3]
[3]·[/3] [3]Enter a quantity for one or more parts and then select SUBMIT to add the items to their cart. [/3]
[3]The above was implemented successfully on a single page that is based upon the bulk order quantity category template.[/3]
[3] <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />[/3]

[3]PROBLEM[/3]
[3]We capture the individual dropdown selection values as a string (e.g. “2007 - Honda Accord – EX Leather – Manual…”) for quality assurance purposes. We need to include this string on all order documents, emails, etc. The only field in the email template that I thought might work was LineItemInputsAndModifiers. This seems to be used for displaying SharedChoice information. Since the page is not based upon a product template, it is not clear how to populate a shared choice field.[/3]
