Hi Chris/LCasey, Not sure exactly what you are referring to, however we have a mod for bvc5 that is what I think you are looking for. On our tax demo site, I have set up some products with "accessories", http://bvctaxdemo.caplin...EU-Taxable__WidgetA.aspxhttp://bvctaxdemo.caplin...-Tax-Class__WidgetB.aspxThe component has 3 display modes, checkbox, dropdown, and radio button, and offers the ability to provide discounts on the bundled product when purchased with "main" product. The design is based around the concept of product accessories such as a digital camera would have a carry case, memory, lens, etc as accessories. The items offered in the list have to be seperate products listed in your catalog somewhere. It also offers the ability to style the choices differently depending on the stock status of each accessory. |

caplink,
That's not what we need.
We need to display product variations (for a single product) in a grid so the customer can add several choices in a quantity of their choice to the cart with one click.
Example: A widget in red, blue, white, green. The customer can add 2 red and 1 green, 0 blue and 0 white . . . or whatever . . . to the cart with one click.
BVC knows what we're talking about! . . . as do most who used BVC 2004. Those who moved from BVC 2004 to BVC 5 lost it, and it's sorely missed. It's extremely useful and applicable to many products. It's good marketing & merchandizing. Customers are more likely to buy more than one color of widget when presented like this. We would really appreciate getting it back BVC!
Thanks anyway though, caplink,
Linette

Linette, we kind of came up with a fix for the grid with mutiple selection that BV2004 had. We too missed this and had to improvise. Its not pretty but it functions for what we need and it is time comsuming in the respect that you have to create different products that you want included. The only thing that I need to do is find time to add paging to it, because it can get lengthly. You can see it in action here . By the way this is utilizing a categorybulkqtylisttemplate. Richard, check your store in IE6. I can't see anything when selecting menu items. See below: MitchA attached the following image(s): Somethingmore.jpg (43kb) downloaded 191 time(s).You cannot view/download attachments. Try to login or register. |

Also, BV needs to consider releasing some/all the themes being offered as part of your hosting solution as part of SP3. To say the standard themes are barely functional is an understatement and given what you offer with the new package, it seems only fair and equitable. http://www.bvsoftware.com/bvsignature/Experience/Template_Gallery.aspx Editing: Themes aren't compatible with regular BV  I'm sure there will be more news on this and SP3 soon. Be interested to hear if this is BV hosting in house or is it being farmed out?

MitchA, thanks for the heads up. I will probably have to have some help with this one as I don't have access to a IE6 browser. Maybe Cliff can point me in the right direction.

LCasey,
If BV does not add that back in for SP3, we will release an add-on for that behavior. |

C,
BV Signature uses a completely different template system than BV Commerce 5 porting the themes to BV Commerce 5 would not be practical. If you're interested in a custom theme based on one you like Nick would be happy to get you an estimate on what it would take.

Richard Judging by the screenshot, you might be suffering from a margin-related bug in IE6 that essentially doubles the margin on a floated object, which could then be pushing the rest of your content below that column. If you set the column(s) to display:inline; in your stylesheet, that may fix it. Don't worry about telling it to display inline; if something is floated, the display is ignored unless it is none |

Again I don't have IE6 to check it with, it seems to be working great in IE7 and FireFox. Could some one check it for me with IE6. Thanks Cliff for the info. Richard www.somethingmorestore.com

Is it possible to post a list of what is fixed in SP3? Is it more than the hotfixes? This way we can see if there is something missing that is important to one of us. |

Also, you need to make sure that the margin is set in pixels and nothing else. Code:#categoryleft { width: 190px; float: left; display: inline; margin: 0 5px 5px 5px; background-color:#FDF6E6;border-right: 1px solid #EEEEEE;} |

Richard, all is good again at 7:50 est. Come to think of it, I didn't scroll down to see if the column was getting squeezed - should have known to look. Seems OK now.
BTW, very nicely done. |

We will try to get out a change log for SP3, compiling such a list is VERY time consuming though. (Even with source control and bug tracking) |
