Kitting will be included in SP4 due out at the end of March, 2008. Just another couple of weeks away :-)

Hmmm. . . I guess somebody is running behind schedule :)
We've been waiting for this feature for 6 months. . .hopefully it will be out soon.

SP4 is in beta testing. The feedback we got from customers based on the beta was that is was not ready to release yet and that we needed to add a few more features to kitting to make it usable. It will be at least a few more weeks before SP4 is ready.

Hello Marcus,
Can we get a commitment on the completion date for SP4? I have to meet schedules all the time, I just have allocate more resources if I find myself falling behind. I have been following the discussion with regards to SP4 and Kitting, and it seems to me we dont know when it will be complete? Please lets get this fuctionality out, I cannot proceed with my current project without it.

There's probably going to be another round of beta testing as I, among others, fired back a bunch of suggestions and tweaks for the kitting feature after the first round of testing. I hear you on the commitment date but it's squeezing blood from a stone. I can't fault BV for this, it's something that I'm anxiously awaiting as well but just have to make do. It's a big feature upgrade and it will absolutely open up a new can of worms if it isn't solid. |

Is the video still available to view. I was looking at using the kitting, but haven't found any documentation on it. The video does not pull up.
