I have been working on this all day and am getting very frustrated, but orders are not going to my authorize.net account. I have spoken in detail to authorize.net reps and everything on their end is set up correctly. My account is active and ready to recieve transactions. In BV all the required authroize.net account info is given and I have checked it is correct. So, why are orders not being recieved by authorize.net? The authorize.net rep said that there could possibly be an error code which would que them into knowing how to more precisely fix the problem. Is there a place I can view error codes from them? If there aren't any error codes what more can I do?

Please help!

Does the Event Log in BVAdmin give you any clue as to what is going on?

We've been using Authorize.NET with BV Commerce 5 for a while now. Are you certain your Authorize.NET settings are correct? Have you checked to make sure your account is active? Just tossing out some ideas...

Can you also post your version information?

You can find this under Options > About.

Are the orders making it through at all?

No the orders aren't going through at all-as far as Authorize.net is concerned.

What do you mean about version info? I'm sorry, but I am unclear. I went to options, but didn't see anything with "about".

I REALLY appreciate your assistance. I am very anxious to get this working so my store can take orders!!

Are you using BV Commerce 5 or BV Commerce 2004?

Copy and paste the information from the "About" section. I've attached a screen shot.

Nick, thank you so much for your time and assistance, but I am going to call customer service to see if I can resolve this before the weekend.

Thank you!

You can try installing Service Pack 1. SP1 includes some more logging code that may display an error in the communication between BV Commerce 5 and Authorize.NET.

After installing SP1, run a test order. Check the error log and the private notes for the order for details about the transaction.

Let us know what you find.

Nick,

Recent test produced this in event log:

11/28/2006 9:55:21 AMApp_Web_w0yklyjfObject reference not set to an instance of an object.[ at BVAdmin_Configuration_Payment_Edit_Gateway.LoadEditor() at BVAdmin_Configuration_Payment_Edit_Gateway.Page_Init(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Web.UI.Control.OnInit(EventArgs e) at System.Web.UI.Page.OnInit(EventArgs e) at System.Web.UI.Control.InitRecursive(Control namingContainer) at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Boolean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint) ]

Orders appear to process normally through BV - though extremely quickly as if they are not being transmitted. There is no delay whatsoever (our other site takes a couple of seconds) which we would normally expect. Everything looks fine on Auth.net. We have compared it to another site - set up is exactly the same.

Thanks,
