Hi,
I have Free Shipping selected for several products, however since SP1 it seems that this does not get applied.

Same problem here on my test site. Worked fine prior to SP1. Seeing as we ship free on the majority of our products this is as big a snafu as the previous minimum quantity issue that was finally corrected on the 16th of November.

Scott, I use the "Free Shipping" Offer in Marketing to make some of the products with free shipping. I set it up with no promotional code required. I suppose it's a workflow problem, but can't figure it out at the momment. Corneliu. |

I doubt it is a workflow problem. The free shipping discount is evaluated by ShippingProvider (the dispatch code that figures out the shipping costs for alll shipping methods). I just did a quick test and Free Shipping worked for me (I have SP1). |

Ok, I figured it out. An existing (old) Free Shipping that was defined in before SP1 does not work. Does not matter what I do with it but it does not get applied. I created a new Free Shipping, selected the same values + products and this one gets applied. I consider the issue fixed, but it's good for others to be aware :) Corneliu. |

That makes sense. I defined the Free Shipping offer pre-SP1, but I had left it disabled. I enabled it to do the test and it worked. I think enabling does the same thing as creating a new one. |

I'm not entirely sure why a pre SP1 free shipping offer would not work post-SP1, but if anyone else has any problems with the free shipping offers after deleting and re-creating the offer please let me know and I will look into it further. Thanks! |

Exactly the problem here as well. It seems anything defined in pre SP1 is lost. Will try to recreate later.

We found a bug in the offer code. You must have at least two offers defined or none of them will run. The first offer can be disabled. |

am i hearing this correct -
there are no way to set free shipping on the product. but instead, set an offer for free shipping. so every new product I create, I have to go modify the offer?

Currently, yes, this is the way that it works. |
