Shared Choices...change from previous version on naming?

I could have sworn in the previous version shared choices were like regular choices...there was a display name shown on the page and an internal name that identified the choice. With shared choices there is now only one name. For instance if the shared choice is "Size" and the sizes are S M L XL that's the only time you can have the text display "Size" and a drop down of those sizes. If you have another vendor that has a second size set, S M L XL XXL for instance, you cannot name that Size, it would have to be Size 2.
I'd like to see it behave the same way as regular choices, internal and external names. I have choices that are almost identical, say imprint color where one vendor may have 8 available, another 15. The way this is now they cannot be shared choices as I am limited to ONE "Imprint Color" instead of being able to internally label them "Manufacturer X Imprint Colors, Manufacturer Y Imprint Colors".

Any word on if / when this will be addressed in modifiers and shared choices? SP2, or something before that? We're just trying to plan our implementation and need the BV4 capabilities here.
Thanks.

It was most likely an oversight on our part. We'll get this back into the software (hopefully with SP2).

Excellent, it really appears to be an oversight but I didn't dig into the DB to see if the fields are there.
The sooner the better as those waiting to make the move from 2004 will need it and I'm hoping to see the update before I get way deep into our catalog.
Thanks

Is part of the moderation feature that posts no longer show as from the author? IE, Marcus shows as the last poster on this thread versus me.

Scott,
It could have something to do with the forum caching. I'll put it on the list of things to check for the next update to dotnetbb.
