Inventory Batch Edit & Additional image Issues

Problem 1:
I did a test using the "inventory batch edit" in the admin for a few products with success.
After importing about 300 products, i tried it again, it only picked up 3 products all together.
is this a bug?
Problem 2:
After i had uploaded the batch, i realized i forgot the additional images.
i went back and put in "new^images/products/ma/CANON-A710_ad.JPG^^" as the instruction said, hit import/update but nothing was added.
what did i do it wrong?
Can any tech help?

1) Are you sure you didn't have the filter set so that it would only display the 3 items?
2) Once you hit the button at the bottom of the batch product update page, you get a preview, and then you have to confirm in order for it to save. Did you do this? |

There are no filters on at all

yes, only displayed 3 as well... |
