The company I'm developing this for uses slashes in their skus, for example 100-U/A.

When auto url rewriting for products is set under performance options (which i understand is a benefit with regard to google spiders etc), the url for the product page ends up being /store/products/blahblahblah___100-UA.aspx or something similar, which results in a resource/page cannot be found.

If i add the slash into the url like this /store/products/blahblahblah___100-U/A.aspx then it comes up fine so the problem is that the on the fly generation of the product page is using the slash but not the code that generates the url link (buildurlforproduct procedure)

I want to keep using the auto url rewrite feature so i am trying to figure out how to cope with this issue, if i just modify the cleannameforurl procedure to not strip the slash, i'm not sure what other impact that will have overall. Besides, seems like this should be handled so maybe it is a bug.

Can i get some direction in how to handle this?

Thanks much for the help.

We are going to have to do some testing on our end, because this should be working. Are you running SP1?

Hello Sam.

This store is not running Service Pack 1. Your version information should reflect 5.0.0.750 versus 5.0.0.621.

You can download SP1 by logging into your account at our online store: http://www.bvsoftware.com/store

View the order details for your order and you should see a download button for the patch.

What is the best upgrade path for me? Do I need to install the 5.01 patch then the SP1 patch or can I just install SP1 developer pack?
