Authorize.net payment processor does not work

Hi, I have enabed credit card payment processing by Authorize.net via the admin section. I entered all the required fields and saved the settings. But, when i go to the store and click on Place order, the page refreshes saying the order is processed successfuly. The code did not contact authorize.net and there was no processing and no authorization code returned.
Can anyone help me to figure out what other settings I am missing here? The page refreshes within a second and it doesn't contact the payment gateway

Hello Nandu. You can either leave the Live/Test URL blank, or use the following: Live: https://secure.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dllTest: https://secure.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dllYou might want to make sure your Merchant Login and Transaction key are correct. You can also try running it in “debug mode”. This should show some additional information in the event log. |

I am using Authorize.net and it has been working for me. Hopefully you'll get it all figured out soon. |

Thank you both for your responses. I changed the URL as per Nick's suggestion and the page now takes couple of seconds more to refresh. I am still not sure if the authorization is happening or not. Where do I check for authorization code returned by authorize.net? The site, the order is successfully process, but the admin says the whole amount is pending.
I get the following error in the event log section of admin
