This is a fun project. One of our clients purchased an old wood toy manufacturer that had kind of let time slip by - technology wise and their brand name. If you're up there in age (you don't have to admit it - lol) you should recognize the brand and the products they manufacture. The challenge here was to get them into the current technology while at the same time maintaining the old-school feel of the brand. At the clients insistence, the site went live a week before it should have but in their defense the old site (and I mean old) should have come down several years ago. We are still filling in content as it comes but for the most part the look and feel is complete. Hey Noah. I think the site looks great.
After briefly looking around the site, here are a few things I noticed:
1. I would look at making the main content wrapper a little wider. Alternatively, make some other adjustment so that the fieldset in the search page does not run off in FF and the totals in the checkout page are easier to see. I only checked out the site in FF. 2. I would make the buttons png’s with a transparent background. The cart and checkout page shows the white background on the images. You might like that look though… 3. I would also add the category-list-bottom-bg.gif to the customer service menu, similar to the category menus. |

Good finds Nick, looks like a couple SP2 issues snuck back in. Should be all set now. |

I'm 50+ (one month). I remember some of these.. Yikes!!!! Hey - no batteries.
I clicked on a few, Hickory Dickory Dock & Lacing Shapes... and they opened below the L menu instead of next to it. (IE 6) Same with Holgate History, looks like a blank page until you scroll way down.
Sweet site, nicely done.
I took another look - I think it's the "Also purchased" block at the bottom. It looks like its a bit too wide. |

Thanks Mitch. They should look good in IE6 now.
We still have several areas we are waiting on content for and I think it will start to round things out nicely when it gets added. |

I think I had one of those Bingo Beds, but the site does not appear to be that old. Who is that Mr Rogers guy anyway and what ever happened to Howdy Doody? Maybe that comes in the Old Tyme section and hasn't been filled in yet.
I'm going to show this site to my mother. 1929 is closer to her era. She also has a couple great grandchildren about the right age for these.
Very nice looking site.

And Noah has his own stool too.

Looks good. I still have one of those chair/step stools, but without the chair back. |
