I launched my Affiliate program yesterday, and customers have been emailing me today saying they can't sign up. So I tried on my Live site, my home test site and on a pristine local site (all BVC5 SP2). All of them give me the error: Couldn't Create New Affiliate Account. Save Failed. |

Same here.
Also, can you tell me where to go to change the feilds... I really don't want to ask for a driver's licence number.

The only one of these files you need in order to fix this issue is AffiliateSignup.aspx.vb. The reason that these other files are included is because we realized that new affiliates are created as disabled by default (this is as designed) but we did not include an easy way to filter them out on the admin side so that you can see disabled affiliates. So the other three files are here for the purpose of adding this ability. If you are not using the affiliate system then there is no reason to use these files. If you do install these please let me know your success/issues with installing them so that we may release them as a hotfix. The affiliateSignup.aspx.vb goes in the root of the website. Affiliates.aspx and Affiliates.aspx.vb go into the /BVAdmin/People/ folder. The .sql file contains sql that needs to be run manually against your database in order to update the stored procedure so that we can filter out the enabled users. Thanks and I hope this helps! It works for me!
Now, how do we get rid of the Tax ID and Driver's license fields, or make them optional? |

Well, it is not possible without modifications to turn those fields off or make them optional. I can remove the fields from the form for you and post a custom version of it. Would you just like the Tax ID and Driver's license fields removed? |

Yes. Make the Tax ID and DL - go away.
Thank you. |
