There is an option in BV5 to make a store private, in short make a person login prior to being granted access to the web site. The way it currently works is that if a person types in the url for the web site, the user is immediatly taken to a current user login screen. On this screeen, a person cannot create a new login, so they have to be a current user. The problem lies with the fact that the screen does still have the option to request the users password, in case that user has forgotten their password, but when the option is selected, the screen just refreshes and I believe display a message saying invalid user. On this login screen, there should be a way for the user to request their password, and there should be a way for the user to get to the contact info screen, so the user could find the email address for the site admin, or the site admin phone number, as this would permit a new user to contact the admin/owner of the site and request access to the site. This feature would come in handy for wholesale stores that need to keep the average person out of the site.

Would you mind looking at a bit of code for us to see if it solves your issues for you? We would like to get your feedback before we issue a hotfix.
