Looking at a previous Post, I see that there was some movement by BV to do some automatic sales tax figuring... My business is in Florida and my understanding is that I need to collect the discretionary surtax for each county in addition to the base of 6%..I looked at doing this by zip code, but in addition to this being a huge project, I don't think it will be accurate. A quick check shows zip codes that span multiple counties with different surtaxes. I can of course use the county system built into BV, but how would I know that the customer has selected the correct county...rather than just one that figures a lower tax rate? My preference is a system that would figure the rate automatically based on the shipping address. Are there any services that can do this? Any plugins? Thanks, Matt[url] |

We have some customers working with automatic tax services already. Contact our sales department at 877-306-7939 and we'll get you setup with a service.
