I'm a developer considering BV for a couple clients and I was wondering if the documentation existed in a format that could be downloaded and printed (e.g. a pdf)?
Also, I was wondering what guidance there is for developing locally on an individual dev box (that just I use) before deploying to QA/production?

what about a manual for developers? Does one exist and is it downloadable?
Also, as a developer I'm considering building out the bv commerce site locally on my dev. box and then pushing to production. I'd like to know up front if there are any restrictions and/or problems in doing so.

The online user manual is the only documentation we have at this time. What specifically are you looking for? Perhaps we can publish some additional documentation in our next update that will help with whatever you are looking for.
No, there are no problems with running a development site and then pushing it up to the web. |
