Hi,
We've picked a bunch of products and said 25% off list price. When the product is selected and viewed the product size choices are there, and at the initial display the sale price is shown correctly taking off 25%. When you click on a size, the price updates and changes to another store wide 10% off sale thats running. It appears that it does not work on sale items chosen by category, a confirmed bug in BV4? I think... OR two sales are running and only applying one, but not the other? Which maybe a workflow issue? (Ours or Bv's) OR we can't do what we are thinking we are doing.
Basically the customer wants to place a particular brand of clothing into 25% off of list price. But, not including the store wide 10% thats also running.
Perhaps we ought to batch edit and drop all prices for all products by 10% then delete that offer?
We just deleted that sale and setup the sale with 25% off and selected the products individually (a big task) and lo and behold it works as we expect.
Either the category picking sale items don't work or we're not sure how this process works or should work.

We will look into this. The sales should actually be stacking, and there may be some reason why they are conflicting. |

Just ran into a similar issue. Just trying out a simple category sale in our dev store and it's not applying the % off site price to product choices. No other sales exist so it's not a conflict there, it just doesn't work at all on choices. If I set up a store wide sale, a product type based sale, or select individual products it works as it should.

"Anthony, I was able to confirm in our test labs that this feature is not working. We're working on a fix but have no ETA on this fix. We'll also have this fixed in Service Pack 2. We anticipate releasing the beta for Service Pack 2 at the end of January with the full release scheduled in February."
Still broke.

brianb... This might be a 'site price' vs 'list price' problem.... perhaps???
There's a difference. When working with price group discounts (and perhaps also with sales, I haven't tried), only a modified 'site price' figure calculated properly, even though the product page says "list price" with the price struck out. |
