I made a coupon that was supposed to be used once and then expire (according to the coupon use type of Per Store 1 time).

However, it is letting an unlimited about of redemptions! I can't give everyone 50% off my store, so I need to fix this fast! Can anyone help?

I just found out that all the coupons I've made can be used an unlimited amount of times... I'm going through and manually deleting hundreds of coupons now.

I don't think it is updating how many times each coupon is being used for me. I'm on the latest version/service packs, etc...

Ooh, that's exciting. Be sure to open a support request with BV as well. Sorry I don't have any answers; I haven't had a chance to mess with coupons.

I sent Angela a fix this afternoon. Angela, can you confirm that it is working?

Hmm. Problem fixed in less than 4 hours. I wish Microsoft could do that!

Nick, no I'm sorry, I never got it. But our scavenger hunt was a blast, we had so many people online chatting and hunting and we just manually gave out coupons. :)

Next one we hope to have coupons that do expire though. ;)

Can you send the fix again to [email protected] ?

The scavenger hunt was a great idea. Sounds like it was a success :)

I just resent the file. Please let me know if you do not get it.

Thanks!

Scavenger Hunt??? Hmm. Interesting concept.

How did you do that? Did you set up a product offer which could be used (x) times per store over a given date range, then promote it on your BB? But don't tell them which products are discounted?? That way they look at ever thing they are interested in? I could see people going nuts over something like that. In a good way that is.

What is the last step? Do you announce the winners someplace?

We have some slow moving clinics on our site from time to time. We would like to maintain our price but could afford to discount some clinics pretty heavily just to increase our numbers if we don't end up training our customers to wait until the last min to sign up.

My customer base comes from a community of over 62,000 members of parents dedicated to babywearing. And that's half my market, the rest are just normal parents who just have a baby.

Anyway, half my customers live and breathe baby carriers. So we started them with one clue:
Clue 1: A local designer who lives down the mountain in Boulder has "Good ________".

Another clue was type in "ghost attacks" in Google, lol!

They find that product, that print Karma Baby pouch in "Good Karma" and then find another clue. At up 17 clues total and then the idea was the first person to reach the end could redeem a 50% coupon, and the rest get lesser coupons. :)

The close-knit community was updated by all my Live Chat customer support people via Yahoo/Google PMs, forum posts, and Live Chats. My customers are very loyal and buy from us often, so I knew all their names. :) I think I have a bit of a unique shop. It was a fun thing to do and we hope to do again!
