Is there a way to keep a someone who is signed in as a discount customer (price group) from ordering from certain categories?

If this user has a 30% discount privilage for most categories/products but not all, is there a way to keep him from making purchases from other categories/products at the same discount?

Perhaps a prefix in the SKU could be detected?

Hi Mitch,

I think the easiest way to implement this would be via your category/product templates. I'm assuming that the discount "priviledge" is assigned via a price group. In your product/category template, implement some logic that would prevent access to the page for anyone that has that particular pricing group set. Obviosuly this should be done as a seperate product template and then you would set the products that you want restricted to use this new template.
