Is there any way to change the shipping status of an imported order that was marked as shipped when the order was imported?


We have an issue with a lost shipment that we need to reship, but no matter what we do on the shipping screen it will not let us change the shipped qty from 1 to 0.

Delete any packages that were created during the import (they would appear below the list of items).

Yeah, I tried that one. Problem is when the orders are imported, the line items are not assigned to any packages, so deleting the package just basically deletes the tracking number. The ship qtys of the lineitems remain at their fully shipped qtys. I also tried creating a package of -1 item and I also tried creating a package of qty 1 hoping that since the products were not assigned to any packages that maybe actually creating a package with product in it would help, but it does nothing shipping qty never changes not even to an "overshipped" condition.
