Amazon may announce payment services (ala Google Checkout and PayPal) sometime in the near or far future. Does BVC5 support it? If not, why not? The is the most important thing in the world right now!!!!! I'm joking. But I'll bet someone sincerely asks this exact question within 3 days of the announcement...if it is announced. |

I'm actually loving the fact that new processors are popping up and getting competitive. My hope is that it will cause at least one of them to step into this century. |

Ok, I got a couple of wishes for my CC processor. 1. How about taking the transaction fees out of my account on a monthly basis, instead of by transaction. 2. How about putting all the money from one batch into my account in one lump sum, instead of spreading over 2 or 3 days and 2 or 3 deposits depending on which credit card company was used. 3. How about tagging the lump sum in 2 above with the date the batch was run, so I can tell which month it came from. Actual date of batch shouldn't be that hard. 4. And if you got time pick up BV5's order number on the detail so I can track some of this stuff down. 5. And do you guys really need to make that much money? I mean your hitting up the merchant for 2.5 percent because we are dealing on the internet for money that your are holding for less then a day, the customer 23 Percent per annum when the fed funds rate was less 1 percent. Plus your hitting them up for $35 late fees which also trigger another $35 over limit fee.
I figure they could write off 25 percent of their accounts every year and still make more money then us.
Anybody ever try to reconcile the bank account your deposits go into? Me! I would be happy if they got into the 20th century.

Go, Bob!!!
I agree with everything you said.
Perhaps a partial fix for one item on your list. Could BV make the transaction code available so it can be printed right on the admin's receipt. For now, I hand write it on the printed receipt for later reconciliation.
Maybe [[Order.TransactionCode]] or [[Order.PaymentConfirmNum]]??
I can see that this number comes back to us anyway.... it's in the order's notes in Order Mgr. |

It's here... http://www.amazon.com/b/ref=sc_fe_c_1_3435361_1/104-9066604-5529567?ie=UTF8&node=342430011&no=3435361Interestingly, it is more like a payment processor toolkit than a canned product ala Google Checkout. The developers that implement this can add features such as the ones Bob mentioned. |

This appears to be like the original paypal as everywhere I see tends to mention the need for an Amazon Payment Account unless I'm missing something (ddn't spend that much time on it). |
