Using web services, we have an export from our database to BV. Before adding a new product we use the web method Catalog_InternalProduct_FindByBvin to see if the product is already there. This had been working fine for at least several weeks, then suddenly started failing with an error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object". The code surrounding this call has not changed so wondering what may be causing this error. Other calls to the web service are still working as before, for example reading vendors, manufacturers. Just this one call seems to fail now.

That is what I was thinking as well. To check this we cleared all products off the web site and then tried a simple FindByBvin knowing there were no items on the web site. We still got the error. I double checked in the admin area and in the database, there were no records in bvc_product table. I imported the wsdl again just to make sure nothing had changed in the related methods and they all were the same. We continue to search for an answer, very puzzling.
