My test orders show up just fine, but past customers have no records of any orders being placed, ship-to, billing addy.... Any ideas? |

Yea, loaded that one 7/20. I just did it again to be sure I had the second one... only one file in the zip, the vb file, right? |

Hey Mitch,
That is correct. Just to be crystal clear, could you clarify "past customers"?
Thanks, |

Hi Mitch, I believe your problem is the same problem that Christopher was having here, http://forums.bvcommerce...t.aspx?f=78&m=49200.If you use one page checkout, an account is not created for a customer unless you require account creation before checkout. We have developed a component that automatically creates a new account for a customer when they use one page checkout without the need for them to explicitly use the new user signup form. |

Are these past customers you are referring to, customers that have been imported from your other site or are they new past customers that originally signed up the first time on BV5?
After we transfered our data from BV4 only the username, email address, first and last name show up on new orders for those transfered customers. When I view the transfered orders, the product information does not show up, but all the contact information and the price paid show up in admin when I view an old transfered order. All the information on the products are stored in the new database but they are in a different table or tables.
Once our customers buy something on the new site, everything seems to fill in on the orders just fine.

Everett, "past customers"... a 'user' who shows up on the Admin > People > Users page. I say past because they placed an order and it's been filled. Perhaps there is a way to tell which customers have set up an account. I clicked on a bunch... I did find a few who's orders show up. I can only assume these set up accounts and the ones who's info is blank did not. Maybe users could be marked to show which have accounts and which don't??? Right now, I can't tell unless I click on the users entry - or is there another way? I know this user has placed an order and it's been filled: MitchA attached the following image(s): OrderHistory.jpg (29kb) downloaded 51 time(s).You cannot view/download attachments.
