Have a new customer trying to get Authroize.net to work on hos BV5 store; has all info entered into the config fields for Authorize.net. test mode worked great! But when the user (and Authorized.net) changed off to live mode, the payment attempts are not going through. There are no Event Logs showing any errors to Authorize.net. Order details shows this error: 10/26/2007 Charge Exception: Payment Error - HTTP protocol error. 500 Server Error.
Any one have any ideas? |

I use Authorize. Worked first time, every time. Contact your host, perhaps it's an SSL thing. |

Randy, Make sure you have this for the live URL: https://secure.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dllAlso, you can turn on the "Debug Mode" checkbox to get more information in the event log.

Hey Marcus,
That's what we had in there with no luck originally. Everett fwd me the new BV Payment DLL and that with removing the actual URL from the config field (and I assume using the default as a result) worked fine. placed 2 test orders on site and both were authorized per order detail notes.
Thanks! |

Hi Mitch,
Thanks for the reply. We are the Host; SSL is working fine. Fix wound up being a 2-combo thing. Got a new Payment dll from BV and removed the manual entry in the config field for the live server . works like a charm now!
Thanks again! |

I also am having problems with Authorize.net
I always get a Timeout error that was logged in the notes box. i have the key and login, and have tried both w/ and w/o entering the URLs. still same error.
Is this what you were getting?
where did you get the new component?
thx

Got it from Everett in BV Support. He said this was to fix other items and was not known to correct Authorize.net issues, but it worked for me. |

Thanks!
I opened a support case yesterday with them. Hopefully they will respond soon. I am running out of ideas. and the logging doesnt tell you anything.
It works fine on my dev site on the machine we host internally, but on the mega fast machine with the megafast data lines, it times out. frustrating.
I have the firewall open appropriately, can hit the https:// addy for authorize.net via a browser just fine, so connectivity isnt the issue. just not sure what else to check. I have spent all day troubleshooting this. I was hoping to go Live Monday, but doesnt look i can now until this gets figured out.
thx !
