When I deselect variations for a product and then save, the variation still exists.. ie. When I view product in the store the choice is still present as an option; however when I select it the quantity field disappears and I am unable to add it to the cart..

Is there a way of removing the variation so that it no longer appears as an choice for the user.

Note, the first time I add shared choices to a product and select the choices I want, only the choices I checked correctly become variations for the product.. But once when I go back and edit the product and uncheck variations, they still appear as choices for the product (but the user cannot purchase it as described above)

Thanks

The issue is that if you have combinations for something like size and color, you end up with combos like this

Small Red
Medium Red
Large Red
Small Green
Medium Green
Large Green

If i deselect Small Green, then I still need "Small" in the list because it is also part of "Small Red". Currently we do not have code that distinguishes between whether or not a single choice option is used anywhere in the product. In the future we could potentially implement an option like this, but it has not been done at this point.

Justin,

I have noticed this also and it's also this way when you only have one choice -- I have tried to "deselect" a choice and it doesn't go away. For example, I have perches I offer in colors:

Blue
Green
Brown
Red

If I am going to be out of stock of Red for a while, I open Product Selections/Choice and uncheck Red -- it doesn't go away from the front end -- the only way to make it go away is by DELETING IT. I'm not sure what the checkboxes are for; they don't seem to serve any purpose.

Similar problem: A list of shared modifiers with one of four radio buttons selected as the default. I edited the modifier and made a different button the default and saved it. I opened it again and saw that the save stuck, but it didn't change on any product using it. I had to delete and re-make the list with the new default selected.

Thanks, we will make a note of this and look into it.
