What's the difference between these [[tags]]:
Order.TrackingNumbers,
Order.TrackingNumberLinks,
Package.TrackingNumber,
Package.TrackingNumberLink
Which would make the most sense to use in an invoice/shipment notice? |

My guess, as I haven't used this or searched the code:
The numbers would be the actual tracking number and the link would be the link to the website to look up the tracking info. The Order vs. Package should be Order, if you have a single package, and Package for multiple packages. Looking at the code, it seems like the Package.TrackingNumber is for each package as it is entered by the admin. The Order.TrackingNumbers seems to be a collection of tracking numbers.
Andy can probably answer this with a more definitive response.

Chris, thanks a lot!!! I could've guessed all of the above. <late friday grin>
...Forgot to include that I use Shipper.
Follow-up: If I get a tracking number from a third party (drop shipper) and enter it on the order edit page, (shipping edit), which tag 'sees' it if it's just a single box? Is it then an 'order' or a 'package'?
Honest, I liked it better when people just waited patiently. 'course, we then had to get a 'trace' on wayward packages.
