What happened to the search with the list format? I only see the grid format in SP3.1? Am i blind lol?

I see it in SP2 where you can select "display as grid" but i dont see that option is SP3.1... was it left out on purpose

nothing? poo... i liked the list format better than grid from PRE SP3... It broke everything down by keywords and stuff... way more powerful than only having the grid format. Is there a way i can implement it back in with ease?
