I want to setup a user to only be able to access the Catalog tab in the admin. So I created the user and made him part of the "Product Admin" group. Once I sign in with this user, I do not get a link to the admin, and when I try to manually access the backend BV tells me I do not have access. How do I give access to, and also restrict, certain parts of the admin? I followed the same process as I did in BV2004 (which worked perfectly). |

Looks like I had to go to People Tab > Groups first and give access to the certain groups by clicking Edit next to the group name. Not sure why this isn't done by default but I hope this helps someone in the future. |
