Firefox 2 doesnt support the <strong> tag? I that the <strong> tag was the standard, and we were not to use the <b> for bold...!? I just realized all everything that i wanted bold in my product descriptions don't show up bold in FF 2..!

It completely supports it, I don't even use the <b> tag. Check your stylesheet, strong could be reset to font-weight:normal. |

looks like someone needs to do a little updating to their site lol: http://webdesign.about.c...tags/p/bltags_strong.htmI couldnt figure out and went there to see if its even works in FF2... Checked my stylesheet and sure enough it was reset... Thanks Cliff!

Something to watch out for.. upper-case html tags are apparently frowned upon. The free text editor boxes don't output lower-case tags. Not a problem yet and I've yet to see a page verify inquiry list this as a fatal error.... It'd be a long list on most of our sites. |

yeah i dont use the free text editor... i do everything in dreamweaver. Thats a good catch though.... good to know!

Yeah, keep everything in XHTML lowercase. Classes and IDs can be mixed case, but are definitely case-sensitive. |
