How would you accomplish this?
I have a product. I am trying to sell a service with that product. The user should be able to add or decline the service when adding the product to the cart.
In BVC2004, this was easy. I created a product for the service, we will call SERVICE1, and the product, we will call PRODUCT1. I used an accessory drop down box to determine whether the customer wanted to add both products to the cart, or just one.
How can I accomplish this in BVC5? It would be easy if the price of SERVICE1 were free. But, it has a price. I can't use a product modifier becuase it wants to change the SKU of the original PRODUCT1. How can I duplicate the accessory drop down box from BVC2004?

product modifiers wont change the sku, only product choices change the sku. My site is only product modifiers, which are the same as customer choices in 2004.7

Tim, watch the videos at: http://www.bvsoftware.com/bvcommerce5manual/My site is also all modifiers. I stay away from the choices and the need to edit all of the combinations - in my case it would be thousands for some of my products. |

Not exactly what I had in mind... but it will work until Kitting comes along. Thanks guys. I didn't realize there was difference between choices and modifiers and the way they change the item. |
