Solved - Problem having to re login after every change

Has anyone else had a problem with being forced to re login after trying to update changes to product (and just about any other change)?
Everytime it happens I lose my changes and have to refill out the form.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

Also, I get prompted for username and password everytime I click a different tab in the admin site. After providing the login info I'm still on the same page without having been directed to the tab I clicked.

Check your browser, make sure your cookies are on (at least) and check "recognize me" when you log in. Your website will recognize you if you set it up correctly. If I'm signed in as admin when I close my browser, the next session opens as admin without loggin.
If you are setting up a new site, be sure to test once in a while as a new visitor, sometimes from a 'fresh' computer. Some features won't show up on the screen if you are recognized as a user or admin, such as certain sign-in requirements on the checkout page. |

Thanks for the help Mitch.
I found the problem. I added sessionstate=stateserver to the web.config file and it seems to have fixed my problem. If anyone else runs into this that might be a good thing to try.
