I just completed an upgrade from 5.2 to 5.3.2 with all hotfixes and am getting errors when trying to authorize. We still have version 4.0.0.9 of the Payflow DLL installed, but the app is looking for 4.0.2.0. However, a Payflow DLL wasn't included in the update or even the stock install that I can find.

Where can I find v4.0.2.0 of Payflow_dotNET.DLL?

...and by urgent I mean this is a live store taking orders but unable to authorize or charge them.

Here is the 4.0.2.0 file. Not sure why you didn't get it. We'll need to review the downloads to make sure it is correctly included.
File Attachment(s):
Payflow_dotNET.dll (168kb) downloaded 218 time(s).

Thanks! No more application errors, but now I'm getting the following error when trying to authorize or charge:

Code:
3/10/2008
Authorize Information:
Response AVS: AVSADDR: AVSZIP: IAVS:
Response Code: 6
Response Text: Invalid or unsupported currency code: 10558-Your processor is unable to process the Card Type in the currency requested. Please try another card type.
Amount: $0.00

Any ideas? Not sure what's going on with the zero amount; the amount input contains $12.94 when manually trying authorize and charge.

Not sure why you are seeing $0.00, but what currency are you trying to use?

Currency is USD. In the drop-down list U.S Dollar is selected.

Is this happening on all transactions? What kind of card are you trying to run through that you get this error?

The ones I've helped test are all Amex, but I'll check with the merchant. As far as I know right now, it's happening to all transactions since upgrading to 3.2.

I can confirm that it's also happening to Visa. Haven't tried MC, but I'm betting on the same result.

Here's the result for the Visa test:

Code:
PMBVC5.PaymentRESULT=4&PNREF=ERFP2A5F650E&RESPMSG=Invalid amount: 10401-Currency is not supported

Can you confirm the version number on your BVSoftware.PaypalWebServices.dll file. Better yet, can you just paste in the verison numbers of all the files from the About box. I want to make sure that something didn't get out of sync.

This is pretty urgent as unauthorized orders are stacking up. I'm unable to submit a support ticket, so this seems to be my only option at the moment.

It's been a few days now, just waiting on whether the version information looks to be out of sync or not. We've tried calling, emailing, forum posting, skydiving, the proverbial gamut.

I know all about what stays in Vegas, but this is a bit much. ;)

It looks like version 4.0.2 is quite old. Version 4.3.0 is the current release and they have dropped support for versions earlier than 4.2.2.

http://www.paypaldeveloper.com/pdn/board/message?board.id=payflow&thread.id=569

I don't have a PayFlow account, so I can't test to see if it is compatible with BVC5 code.

Thanks, Dean. I did that as well, but wasn't sure if Payflow required something else, or a later version of one of them that SP3 didn't contain.

Thanks, Andy. 4.0.2 is what BV posted above as the latest plugin, since it was missing from all of my installs. If there's a newer one, does anyone have it?

You can download the latest version from the page I linked to (install the SDK, then rename Payflow_dotNET_2.0.DLL to Payflow_dotNET.DLL as instructed in the SDK readme). I don't know if BVC5 is compatible, but it would only take a couple of minutes to find out.

Oh, sorry Andy, I didn't realize that was a link to download. For some reason I have been assuming that the DLL was BVC5-specific.

Thanks! I'll give it a shot.
