Search Table fixed but there is a border around it I need the css control for the border

Hello, I have the search form placed correctly in both firefox and ie. In both there is a border showing up around it. I tried 7-8 different css controls to make the border 0 but none of them worked. I am using BVC5 them and including a screen shot. In firofox scc viewer it says id is searchform, and underneath I tried using ct_100_MainContentHolder_SearchCriteria1_pnlMain
I also tried setting the maincolumn to 0. Any help would be appreciated.
