I'm sorry Justin and Cliff for leaving out important information, I'm new to the thread and don't know all that's required yet. Some of the problems mentioned in my previous thread have been resolved and were not related to the BV software. However, since the installation of the 3.2 update, we are unable to set up customer choices and product accessories the way we set it up in BV4. Are we missing a step or has that feature been eliminated? Click on the link below and try to order one of the options and see what happens. http://www.bellabambinostore.com/nimbolightweightposteriorsafetyroller.aspx If the feature has changed, can you tell me how to make it happen? Thanks, Netta

Please edit your post to give it a subject line.
Are your issues possibly theme-related? Perhaps check your theme's stylesheet and ensure that unordered lists are assigned a list style. |

We are going to need a few more details....
Do you have an address so we can see the site?
When you say "Automatic line return" I'm not sure what exactly you mean. Can you try your best to clarify?
When you say "doesn't work" can you provide any more detail on exactly what is happening? |

Netta, add to the thread, don't go back and edit.. it makes it tough to follow the progression of the conversation. I ran though the process... It looks like the product made it to the cart just fine: MitchA attached the following image(s): walker-1.jpg (53kb) downloaded 117 time(s).You cannot view/download attachments. There isn't a problem with the product making it to the shopping cart, the product doesn't calculate the product's variations or accessories if chosen.
Did you select any of the optional accessories? If so, did the price change? For example, If I choose the Tyke Goldenrod Yellow, the price is $179. If I choose the Tyke with the Pelvic Stabilizer, the price should change to $244.90. The Pelvic Stabilizer cost $64.95.
Also, if I choose the Youth - Cornflower Blue which cost more than the Tyke, the price should change to $214.95 because the Youth version is $35 more.
The program ndoes not calculate the prices of the product's variations or the product's options like it did before the 3.2 update. Will you check it again to see if the price changes?
Thank you.

The price of the youth version does change, but ONLY if the forearm stabilizer is also chosen.
Are you using choices or modifiers to build this product's variables? Perhaps you should change to modifiers.... I find these MUCH easier to deal with when the photo/SKU doesn't need to change with the choices. I use modifiers exclusively, even when the price doesn't change. I've never had modifiers not work properly.
If using choices have a look at all of the combinations under "Edit Product Variations" on the product's edit page. There should be 12 (4 x 3).
If using modifiers, I'll assume you set up the modifier to add a $ figure for each of the choices.
Or... I'd submit a support ticket on this one. |

Mitch, I'm using modified. When I select Edit Product Variations, there are no options other than "save changes" and "cancel". The heading on the "Edit Product Vaiations" page reads "Product Combination Edit". We have put in support tickets. Unfortunatley, we haven't gotten a response.
Like I said before, the problem did not occur until the update was added. I've tried to find the answer in the manual, which is more confusing, with no success. My next step was to look for a simular problem on the forum.
Thank you for trying to help.

Hello Justin. This problem is happening to me too. The crazy thing is it does not happen everytime. Here is my dilemma to explain the situation. Here is a product that is working fine. http://www.kastwayairsof...ODBLK-br-bfont__125.aspxThe way I add my product is to have a master SKU # such as 125. When you indicate you want the OD color the subject line changes to say OD at the end of the description and the sku changes in your cart to 125-OD. The color choices are created in Product Variations. I then visit "Edit Product Variations" to provide the correct sku for each color. Keep in mine "Please Choose Color" is set as null. From time to time I repeat this process and there is nothing in the "Edit Product Variations"??? I have done this numerous times as you will see here. http://www.kastwayairsof...cal-Gear/MOLLE-Gear.aspxWhat am I doing wrong??? Why is this random. Thanks for your attention |

kast.... (Rick?) You need to look at the choices for the 3 day assault pack. Going from "Please Choose One" to any color drops the price to $49.99. Going back to "Please Choose One" the price changes back to $54.00. You aren't using modifiers as Netta is, you're using choices. With choices you can edit the text that shows in the product's title (you can get rid of the "choose color" text in the category grid). If you aren't getting to the 'edit product variations' page (a choice on the product edit page) then you need to get that working. There are some great videos explaining editing choices at: http://www.bvsoftware.com/bvcommerce5manual/ but they don't play in FF. |

Hey Mitch,
I updated the prices thank you. Yes I am aware that I can modify each SKU to not show the "Please Choose Color" and have dedicated photo for each color. The problem is I have been doing it one way for so long to change now would not be the worst idea but a lot of work.
The problem is I use photos from my vendors and sometimes they do not offer photos of each color of a product.
Thanks!
