I'm having a weird issue...
2 copies of the same site, identical code, pointed at the same database.
one on a beta server, the other on my local machine.
at check out on my local machine clicking "Place Order" processes the order fine. when i mouse over the button it shows checkout/checkout.aspx in the status bar.
on my beta server it redirects to the home page and never processes the order.
when i mouse over the button THERE, is comes up as: /bvmodules/checkouts/one%20page%20checkout/checkout.aspx in the status bar.
any ideas what could be causing this difference?

Check the Site Standard Root and Site Secure Root in BV Admin > Options > Site Settings > Security.
The URLs are used by the URL rewriting function. Since both sites are being driven off of the same database, and you can only have one Site Standard Root, you will often find yourself being redirected from one site to the other.
I would enter the Site Standard Root for the beta site and then manually enter URL's on the local copy. For example, if you add something to the local site cart and then click on CheckOut, you may be redirected to the beta checkout page (and your item will not be in the cart). At that point, just edit the address to redirect back to your local checkout page. |

To further clarify, i thought it might be a problem with the single page checkout, so switched to the bvc 04 checkout and the next button from the Step 1 page has the same problem.

i find the fact that it's pointing to the actual path to the aspx file and not the rewrite url of it a bit odd.
