I have two problems with BV5 3.2 site and would appreciate some help.



1. Charges always capture even when Authorize only is chosen in payment options.



2. Problem with credit card payment processing (Paypal, etc. work fine). Process just hangs and APPEARS to not complete after clicking submit button. Hangs there indefinitely until you X out, soft boot whatever. In fact the order does place and the credit card charge goes through. Customer however does not know the order went through and often repeats the process and places two or three orders. I have been through Auth.net support and the problem does not appear to be an Auth.net one. I have tried changing from one page to BV4 checkout. I have put in new transaction keys.



Has anyone else had this same problem. I have five BV5 3.2 sites. This is the only one with the problem.

Host with Appliedi.net. Problem began when I switched from another host to Appliedi.net. Four other sites that have always been hosted by Appliedi.net did not and do not have the same problem.

All five sites have BV 5 3.2 installed. Most of the hot fixes were included in the 3.2 install. The others with the exception of SP3.2F have been done. SP3.2F is beyond my technical abilities. However, this hasn't been installed on any of the other four BV5 3.2 sites and they do not have this problem.



Regarding the firewall suggestion, the sites are hosted together in a package. I checked with Appliedi.net and their answer was - if one site was having this problem caused by the firewall - all the sites would be having the same problem.



Credit card payments (and the BV orders) go through and quickly, the problem is that the site just hangs up and that it authorizes and captures with "Authorize at Checkout, Capture Funds Later" selected under Credit Card Options/Payment Settings.



Another problem has surfaced while doing testing on the problem. Orders (charges) voided within the site not only do not "void" the charge - they RE-CHARGE the credit card.
