We are in the process of converting over a bvc2004.7 store to bvc5.3.2.1.
Some of the products in the store are a 3-pack or 5-pack where customer can choose the 3 or 5 items for inclusion in the pack. When trying to add these Product Choices as individual choices for the product, we keep getting an error that "Product Currently Has Too Many Choices" when trying to add the 3rd choice.
Each of the choices for these pack items have 9 to 11 choices in each. for example: PICK ITEM 1 - item a - item b -... - item j
PICK ITEM 2 - item a - item b -... - item j
and so on
So we backed off of the individual product choices and set these up as shared choices. When adding shared choices to the product, we can add 2 of the 3 (or 5) then again get the same error "Product Currently Has Too Many Choices" when trying to add the 3rd.
Any thoughts, ideas, other's with same issues, etc? |

Try doing this with modifiers instead. Using "choices" creates a grid that can be edited for price, SKU, product title, picture. Modifiers don't build a separate 'product' for each combination of variables.
Some of my products have up to 8 lists of modifiers with 3 to 8 variables each... no problemo. |
