We have stopped getting realtime rates from USPS and UPS tonight and have numerous system errors in our event log. Anyone else having problems getting rates tonight? I've been having trouble getting rates for international shipments, mainly to Canada since USPS raised their rates the last time. What do I need to do to fix it:

Bob -- check for a hotfix on this if you don't have the latest -- I do seem to remember that the terminology on the shipping method had to match what the USPS servers have exactly. |

Has anyone figured out what is wrong with the international rates not returning. The only thing we get back is priority mail international, nothing else. We have all the hotfixes applied and running BV5 3.2 Richard www.somethingmorestore.com

What other rates are you looking for? The only rates I think USPS will return any longer are for Priority Mail and Express Mail -- all other "parcel" and "first class" type methods are no longer valid for online rates -- you cannot even go to USPS.com and get them. The ONLY way to ship a package by First Class Mail International is to take it to the post office and pay for it in person. You will NOT be able to get those rates in your store. |

I think they want you to go to thier site for it -- I can't get it to show in Endicia either. |

We had not been able to get International Air rates to work (International Priority was the only one working) until sometime last year. From then, everything was working great until the last postal rate increase. Now we get nada again.
This adds more evidence to my original Conspiracy Theory:
Computers were Never intended to work. They just work long enough so you say "If this works, I could really use it in my business!!!"

Hi, The USPS changed their shipping after the last increase. They do not have the same methods now as they had before. This link should show all the current methods. http://www.usps.com/business/international/welcome.htmand http://www.usps.com/business/international/internationalshipping.htmI have Endicia and it shows all the available methods, which have changed since the last price increase and service changes. Maybe I need an Endicia update -- the problem, though, is that you cannot get it to show up in BV5 |
