I just deployed BVC2005sp3.2 to a production server and found it will not send emails to any account outside of the domain. Regardless of what account I try I get this error: Mailbox unavailable. The server response was: < [email protected]> No such user here[ at System.Net.Mail.SmtpTransport.SendMail(MailAddress sender, MailAddressCollection recipients, String deliveryNotify, SmtpFailedRecipientException& exception) at System.Net.Mail.SmtpClient.Send(MailMessage message) at BVSoftware.Bvc5.Core.Utilities.MailServices.SendMail(MailMessage m, Boolean async) ] I wrote a separate mail script and tested the mail server and relay settings and I am able to send OK through my own test, but not through BVC. I have deployed several BVC sites in the past with no problems, but this is the first with SP3. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be going on? Thanks - JG

I found the issue. It looks like [email protected] was hard coded in the MailServer.aspx.vb screen and used when you run a test mail server. My ISP has it setup so relay will not work unless it is from or to an account on the domain.... so I had to set it to use my account in order to test sending messages externally.
