I don't know if these two are related:
I just got a message from a client that received 10 shipping confirmation emails.
At the client's request, I shipped to him via USPS - I DON'T have this as a shipping choice (I only offer Fed Ex Grnd on the site). On the shipping tab I tried flailing around to see if I could get "unshipped" to flip to "shipped" and clicked around a lot. I built a few packages, clicked 'ship this package' a few times..... I should have killed his email addy to be safe, didn't occur to me.....
Is there any chance on God's green earth we can get some level of human control over when emails go to our clients - without editing a workflow(s) for each instance? Automatic is nice, but geeezus, 10 emails??
I wish I could remember how it worked with my old store 6. Never had a problem. Andy? |

Mitch -- you can create a USPS shipping choice/method - don't make it visible to customers, but then you can choose it in the Admin and create a package and mark it shipped. |
