I am putting a few products on sale through the marketing tab. In the code behind for the cat and product page, I would like to create and If then statement for only products that are on sale.
Visually, any product that I create a sale for, i want text or a graphic to show up on the cat page and product page. I know how to create the if then etc, but i dont know how to find whether the product is flagged as on sale or not. any help?
Example (not code):
If Product belongs to Sale Then Display Text/Graphic

Aram from Avecomgroup did a great job with this... Now, whenever a product or group of products are on sale through Marketing > Sales in the admin, text will be displayed on the category page with each product that is on sale. Example: Autoclave Category (scroll towards the bottom) http://www.medsupplier.com/autoclaves-and-sterilizers.aspx Obviously it can be placed or styled any way. We choose the bestbuy.com approach with yellow background and black text. This works great letting the customer's now which products have a sale or not. Bryan
