Please Help! This is weird......incorrect price when adding to cart from category list

I have a product for example that is $15.00 plus a $1.00 service charge (setup as a dropdown product modifier). When I go to the product itself I see all the details and the dropdown for service charge....that is essentially fixed in that it does not allow you to alter it...... and the price shows $16.00, which is correct and when added to the cart reflects the correct amount $16.00 ($15.00+$1.00).
I just noticed that if I view the product in the category listing (where I have it line listed with the qty box to the left) and enter 1 and add to cart, the amount showing up in the cart in only $15.00 instead of the correct amount of $16.00!!!!
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Going straight to the cart from the category page by-passes the modifier.
I was under the assumption that it wasn't possible to see an "add to cart" button on the category page when a product had choices or modifiers. Did you change this?
Did you make the the modifier a 'required' variant? (A choice made when the modifier is created via the 'is required' check box) |
