In FF, when I click "sign out" on the site, or "log out" on the black bar I get the message below.

I have no problem in IE6 so it's not the site. or server. I've got all cookies turned on. The cookies BVC5MissionfurnishingsUserId and ASPNET SessionId are in place. Closing FF and restarting... I'd still logged in.

Any idea what's going on? I was beginning to like using FF, but this is the 3rd problem in my 1st week.

Mitch,

This indeed seems to be a problem.FF is probably clever enough to detect the loop but IE couldnt figure out. WHat does your logout link say? I mean where does it point to?
Thanks,

IE works fine and FF on another computer works fine also.

Nothing in the event log, like 'failed login/logout'.

This is OK now. I just wiped out FF's cookies for my site... all's back to normal now that the cookies have been created fresh on this machine. The problem was caused (I suppose) by the cookies that Laplink migrated to the new machine. I'm tempted to wipe it all off and start again. Dumb stuff happened like Google Earth never made it over, an I had to re-load the driver for a Canon laser printer from the CD - !?!. (I never trust electrons racing around on a piece of copper)

It drives me nuts when something doesn't work as expected. I'm spending way too much of my life chasing down software/hardware shortcomings. My Dell laptop was delivered with a bum CD/DVD drive and it took 3 emails and 4 phone calls over 4 weeks to get a new one.

I'm still trying to get my laser cutter to work from the laptop. Plug and play my **s.

Thanks.
