i am moving to a new server, im getting this error when selecting checkout
Cannot find ContentPlaceHolder 'headcontent' in the master page '/BVModules/Themes/Bvc5/Default.master', verify content control's ContentPlaceHolderID attribute in the content page.

Go to your old server and identify what theme has been selected there. Then come and apply the same theme on your new server as well. The domain on the new server is using the standard BVC5 Theme. Are you using the BVC5 Theme on your older domain on the old server too?

If you are, then ensure that you have copied all file properly to the new server. Did you perform any upgrade during this move?

i made sure the theme was copied over, yes, there was an upgrade.
the old site is down now, so i cant tripple check, where can i check.

Well, do the following:

1. Open up the /BVModules/Themes/Bvc5/Default.master file and ensure that headContent is present. You will see the line: <asp:ContentPlaceHolder ID="headcontent" runat="server"></asp:ContentPlaceHolder> in the head section.
2. Do you really want to use the standard BVC5 theme or do you use some other theme? If you are supposed to use some other theme, then go to BV Admin and change the theme that the website is supposed to use.

got it, its all working now. that line was missing from the page.
