With BV5? and if so is the intergration working well for you? are you happy with stonedge?

It looks interesting. The only negative that jumps out at me it that from their documentation it does not have the ability to update tracking numbers or ship status back th BV. The do have an "order status" plugin, but it seems to not be fully integrated with BV.

I know people using stone edge with other carts who are very happy with it. I was a bit surprised to see they have it intergrated with bv. Somebody must be using it or they would not have written the connector:)

You can ask Barney for clarification, but my understanding is Stone Edge Order Manager is a complete replacement for the order processing features of BV (or any supported platform). BV becomes the order taker, but then BV's role stops and you do everything else in Stone Edge OM (collect payment, update customer, etc). If you want to expose the order status to your customers, then you add the Stone Edge Order Status System.

You would replace BV's customer order history view (MyAccount_Orders.aspx and MyAccount_Orders_Details.aspx) with the Stone Edge Order Status System.

And you would remove BV Admin > Orders, or at least make it invisible to most admins, since they would do all their order processing in Stone Edge OM.
